Life`s a BEACH.

*SUMMER 2011

Geez, I cannot exaggerate how hot it is here in the Philippines. But Humidity + Scorching Heat of the SUN only means one thing, SUMMER IS F-ING HERE. 

Summer is super awesome if you live on the outskirts of the city where it's still a bit windy; but here in Manila, the weather is exasperatingly HOT. I am not exaggerating. The hotness level of the city weather is extremely devastatingly beyond skin-burning! Sheesh, I wanna stay in an airconditioned room between 10 am til 4pm, haha. I hate the heat outside.

The summer heat makes me crave for fruits! Gah..I wanna eat pineapple, watermelon, orange, kiwi, melon, all the  refreshing sweet and sour fruits everyday. I wanna eat Halo-Halo! Halo-Halo is made up of various sweetened fruits and bean toppings under shaved ice with fresh milk and to top it all of a small piece of ube and leche flan. It`s a delectable summer favorite among Filipinos. It's our local version of Ice Kachang or Red Ruby of Singapore [I dunno what other iced dessert I can compare it to]. I also imagine myself  sitting on the sand, sipping fresh banana smoothie, and reading a good book or listening to house music. Or just have fun watching the cute kids in their tiny bathings suits while frolicking on the shore. Too bad it`s just my imagination. How I wish I could do that but it`s simply impossible cause I have work. I guess the next big thing that I should look forward to is THE beach trip with my family this Holy Week to wherever it is place that were going. I need a break. I also cannot wait to go to Boracay this September with my blockmates and party and do all sorts of fun stuff with them. BEACH, you are indeed, my perfect paradise. 

My SUMMER 2011 will definitely be a good one. I. CANNOT. WAIT.

I`m BACK! Finally :)


I`ve had too much on my plate this past month so I couldn`t update this, but, I`ve got plenty of juicy stuff to blog about, yay!


Sooooooooooooo...My niece and nephew are now on Summer Break, hence, my nephew, Yani, is with me and my dad here in the office. It`s definitely tiring to juggle work and my nephew but it actually honestly feels awesome to be given such huge responsibility. It`s also super fun to see him here in the office. His voice, laughter, and cuteness takes away most of the negative vibes that I have bottled up. Hawww :) It`s super awesome to be taking care of him, plus his tooth is actually about to uhh..what`t the word? POP? detach? Haha! So we are constantly playing with it so it would detach itself from my nephew`s gums! HAHA [The tooth problem is over, it fell off yesterday. This is actually yesterday`s draft which I am actually finishing now haha!]






So here's what I`ve learned from taking care of a child:

1. It`s definitely NOT easy as addition
2. You have to have the longest patience you could ever have, specially when it comes to little boys
3. You have to always bring extra clothes, Shirt, Shorts, Underwear
4. You MUST always bring a Handy dandy Towel
5. You have to have Wet Ones and Tissue in your bag 
6. Food to snack on. My nephew eats like LION! RAWR!
7. You must always bring cash with you cause you never know what he might want to buy in the mall [we live beside a mall]
8. Bring fun stuff like PSP, Drawing Pad, Crayons, Pencil..things that he could do and use to kill time while you are busy doing your thang..haha!

It`s super fun to be with a kid. He makes me feel like a kid again. I love love love my nephew Yani :) Thank you for making me smile Yani. Tita loves you super :)

Republiq

I have classified my peers into 6 groups:
1) Dazers
2) MGs
3) Blockmates
4) The Movie Club
5) Batch 85
6) Singapore Loves


We all have different ways of bonding. Like for example, my Movie Club friends made up of Vinni, Rain, Bryan, and myself bond through Movies, Dinner, and Jokes; MGs on the other hand bond through food, dessert, and stories. I have an awesome number of cliques with varied interests. I`m one lucky gal. But, I`m the kind of person who enjoys a stroll at the mall, dinner with friends, movie dates, coffee and stories, in general. I`m not a fan of bar hopping, drinking, and dancing, or whatever you call it. But last night was different.

Lia GL-ed us at Republiq last night (Thank You Sha Supangan). It was much needed cause I just wanted to unwind from all the stress that I`m getting from work and from my little business. Anyway, Felicia was running a tad bit late so Bie, Anna, Joanna, Bryan, and I chilled and waited for her at Opus. We all ordered this girly drink that goes by the name of Margarita and Bryan drank a bottle of beer. Margarita was so-so. I`d rather order the frozen kind from Friday`s. 


You see, I`m not a HUGE liquor drinker. My friends can drink and take in alcohol like a lot, but not me. I leave all the drinking til you drop to them. I`m more of the support system when they`re drunk and all. I`m fine with that. Also, I hate it when I drink, cause I turn beet red, it`s absolutely embarrassing. I`m proud that I can control what I drink, yes, that`s me, the boring girl of the party.

Lia arrived at around 10-ish. We got inside Republiq at 11? I did not check the time that often cause I wanted to just have clean fun. I totally forgot about how much I loved dancing, hahaha, my best kept secret [no more]. I super had fun time dancing the night away despite the 4 inch heels that I wore that was killing me. We got a table [with no chairs, geez, I danced and stood there simultaneously] with consumable drinks, they ordered a bottle of Cuervo and Bacardi. I had one shot of Bacardi, and they drank til they got super wasted, that part I cannot control. I had to take care of four girls..or make that three cause Barbie got some friendly lovin from Lia`s friend Arlo *Wink*.  But overall, the experience was fun. I got home at around 4 am cause I had to drop Anna and Bie at home first. I woke up 11am already, haha. Super GOOD AND SEXY VIBES.

Pandora

I dragged my dad all the way to Greenbelt 5 to buy my sister a gift for her birthday on the 15th. I ended up giving it to her as soon as I got home, haha. I couldn`t help it. I got super excited for her. So anyway, I bought my sister a Pandora charm as a birthday present. I couldn`t think of any other perfect present for her. She`s been collecting these charms for quite some time now. I`m glad my sister loveddddd it! I`ve got the best sister in the whole wide world. She`s my ally in everything. You`re the best, ate! I love you forever!
