Everything's So Blurry

I was with my high school girls last last week and we talked about future plans, career, marriage, which I haven`t fully mapped out yet except for travelogues with family and friends which I am looking forward to for the next 2 years of my boring life; note: made us all feel super old. Anyway, while we were talking, I kind of blurted out my sentiments and plans of only bliss and selfishness which is amazingly beneficial for my self/soul growth *evil laugh*. I mean, yeah, Bryan and I have talked about our future together, definitely, but right now, I just want to be filthy rich so I could put up a business, both mma and pastry related, which would generate tons of money for "future" purposes, schooling, and travels to places I would like to go to. Career is so-so.

Thing is, I`m really greedy when it comes to money and the kind of life that I am living. I really am. I work to earn money so I could sustain the kind of lifestyle that I am used to. I honestly still don`t have plans of saving up for "Marriage" or "Family" YET. I want to spoil myself while I`m still, technically, SINGLE [I have a boyfriend, but you know, technically? haha]. Dad spoiled us all and showered us with everything. So I strongly believe that my future son and daughter and `rents would also get used to the lifestyle that I grew up in. Should I thank my dad for the awesome treatment? But "Family Life" is just a big fat blur to me, for now at least. Oh except for the fact that I will return to my dad the awesome treatment that he gave me.

As I was saying, we were talking about what the future has in store for us 4 [Anna, Gigay, Bie, and Myself]. Anna`s focusing on her Shangrila employment dreams coming true and her future tisoy boyfriend, Gigay on working for a 5 star hotel and knowing her so-called purpose, and lecture on contentment, and lastly, Bie on having a boyfriend while interning in a hospital. When it was my turn, I proudly declared my love for Travelling. I have a semi-clear vision in mind of what would make me rich but I want to travel the world. I think I can find contentment after I have pursued my love for travelling. Trust me, I hate flying long hours but when you reach your destination, the trip is always worthwile.

It`s really too early to tell, one thing`s for sure, we would defintely MAKE IT HAPPEN. But for now, I`m keeping my fingers crossed for us 4 for God to give us the strength and willpower, hahahaha.

Homemade Tomato-Basil Sauce

I ate at Cibo with Bie and Bryan last Saturday and got inspired to make my own Pasta Sauce, hence this blog :)

This, probably, is the easiest homemade sauce that I can make with limited materials [pan included] on hand.

Ingredients:
7 Local Tomatoes
Water
Basil
Garlic
Onion
Salt
Pepper
Cayenne Pepper

Boil

Squish

Add Onions and Garlic

Add the Basil, Salt, and Pepper to taste.

Cayenne Pepper lastly depending on your taste preference. And VOILA!

Camera Reset

I dunno what Bryan did to the settings of my camera but it became grainy! !@#$TWSFA!#@$ So I had to reset all the functions of my Damon. Look. PSHH!

Cupcakes by Sonja

I bought Cupcakes By Sonja last last last week just to try it cause most bloggers gave good reviews. Their cupcakes look uber pretty and yummy but their frosting is just too sweet for me. Their red velvet`s so-so. The lemon one, i guess (cause momma ate it), is kinda sour which gives justice to the lemony frosting, so okay lang. The chocolate is okay lang din. The teal one is sweet! The price is just right. Overall, i give Cupcakes by Sonja a 3/5 stars cause I love the colors, the look of the cupcakes, and the packaging :)

I have 3 favorite cupcake sellers, one is Frupcakes, second is Miren's Desserts, and third is House of Silvanas (just the black bottom cupcakes and the red velvet). I swear, you have got to try FRUPCAKES. FRUPCAKES is LEGIT :)

Start Wearing Purple

Tried purple for a change. It looks okay naman. The purple gloss is too pigmented so I had to pair it with a neutral lipstick; So, purple gloss with a semi-nude lipstick, perfect.

Tuesday Blues

I wore blue skirt today cause I forgot my workpants at home, stupid. But anyway, this is what I wore today. Black Dorothy Perkins Top, Blue Forever 21 skirt, Zara cardigan, and ballet flats. Yesterday, I wore a Pink Top and Brown Skirt which is pretty similar to this except that i wore a puffy sleeved top yesterdat, haha.

Power of a Hug

I got that quote from tumblr. I can`t find the exact photo that I reblogged but this is a part of it. So anyway, I was feeling super depressed yesterday because of unknown reasons or I`m not sure if I`m ready to admit the reason behind that sadness, but whatever. I went to Glorietta to buy something for my baking business. I told Bryan to meet me after his work. I was about to go to The Ramp to look for brogues but wanted to meet Bryan first. And so, I turned around and he hugged me. I super duper duper duper got kilig and surprised and happy and ahhhhh..I cannot explain how he transformed my sadness to extreme happy vibes. Now, I do believe what the power of a hug can do to a person.

Casual Saturday

Today is Casual Saturday at work. This is what I wore today, just a crisp white shirt, some shorts, and my favorite gray plimsolls. I`m going out with my guy friends later since Bea and Steph can`t join us. I miss Rain and Vinni so freakin much so I`m super hyped to see them. As usual, we might watch a movie and eat dinner afterwards, but who knows? Gah! :] Will post pictures on Monday!

Day 3

Seafood Pasta with Lemon Butter Sauce and Broccoli on the side

I woke up early today and prepared a delicious breakfast for me and my dad. Our breakfast [around 9:30] normally becomes heavy brunch because our next meal time would be around 3 or 4 already because of workload, so that`s about 6-7 hours apart, not healthy. But anyhow, my body have already adjusted to that pattern so no biggie.

I`m on my third day as a Pescatarian, and I`m really enjoying this thing that I`m doing. Pescatarian is a kind of diet wherein you can only consume vegetables and carbs and seafood, basically anything with the exception of meat. I`ve done this before and I lasted for about 2 or 3 months? I can`t remember clearly. I`m doing this to shed off the unwanted lbs that I gained over the holidays. This is my go-to when I want to go for a healthy living kind of thing, haha. So yes, I`m already on my third day and I`m totally rocking this diet. I`m so proud of myself for controlling my meat cravings, haha! Short term diets really don`t work for me, or they do but for only a freaking short time, duh.

College Life :)

I miss my college friends. I should definitely go out with them soon [starting on Saturday, haha]

I`ve been blessed with a good set of Friends, I wouldn`t trade them for any other. We`ve all been through a lot of catfights, bitchslaps, and whatnot, but I love the fact that they`re still there for me [me too, duh]. I love love love love my college friends :D Thanks for all the fun memories. Parang kahapon lang DV1 tayo. And sa mga new close friends ko, HELLO <3 hahaha!
